So everything went as smooth as possible. Got to the hospital at about 6:00 a.m., got admitted and answered about a million questions. They started pitocin at about 7:25 and at that point she was 4 cm and 85% effaced. At about 9:30 they broke her water and the fun was beginning. They also found her to be 6cm, 100% effaced. At 10:50 she was 7cm, and about 20 minutes later, she jumped to a 10 and pushed for about 2 minutes and Taylor entered the world. Doesn’t get much easier and faster than that. Although I think Jacey actually came a little faster.
Jen was a trooper, all natural! Although if it had gone much longer, she may have thrown in the towel!
Jen is sleeping, Taylor is getting warmed up after his first bath, and I am sipping starbucks. This is the life.
